KEY N°1: Trick with TV!
Television… « THE » invention that gave rhythm to my childhood.Like a lot of us, this is now a habit: watching TV.
The proof is the following. We are so getting used to watch TV that – in France – a person consume this media about 3h42 per day on average!!! (source: mediametrie 2017).

In other words: 60 days per year!!!! That’s huge!! All this time is lost whereas you could’ve invest it to take time for your activities, to discover…
And for those who say “I take time and I rest when I’m watching TV”, think again! In this interview in the French newspaper “Le Figaro”, Michel DESMURGET (doctor in neurosciences) is talking about risks linked to overconsumption of TV.
Trick with TV!
3h42 per day, this is the max time span that a French can find back by stopping watching TV! Find 60 days back in a year! Of course, given that it’s an average, maybe many of you will only get 1h or even 30 minutes per day! And even if you find 30min back, this represents more than 7 days in a year!!
This trick isn’t revolutionary but it is really efficient: reducing considerably, even entirely the consumption of TV.
My personal feeling.
About this 1st key, I want to encourage you to apply this advice or – at least – try! Since a long time, I’m not watching TV anymore (except for some rare exception). When I want to watch a TV interview or report, I watch them thanks to “replay”. This technique enable to control the time span passed in front of the screen 🙂
